Upon booking your session I have many outdoor locations I recommend based on style and vision. Dresses/gowns limited for outdoor sessions.
Hair and Makeup not included but please arrive ready. Nicole Laughlin Makeup Artist for hair and makeup is always my go to!
I shoot for how many images you have chosen to purchase and edit the best image from each set up so there will be no need to choose.
Partners & children are allowed to be involved in any session.
IMAGAES ARE USUALLY READY IN APPROX 3-4 WEEKS FROM THE SESSION DATE
For expecting mamas a good time to do your maternity photos is when you are 28 – 36 weeks along. Every person is different and I am open to going outside of that time frame to accommodate
Nude or skin toned strapless bra and seamless underwear for gowns
Coordinating outfits (for significant other/husband and/or children)
Any favorite scarves, accessories, jewelries, etc.
I do have maternity dresses, hats, headpieces and kimonos available to use. The benefit is you don’t have to go and buy maternity dresses that you only wear a few times—one dress can run anywhere from $100 – $1000 each!

Outdoor & Studio Sessions
#1 Priority - DO NOT STRESS!!!
My biggest recommendations are to have baby ready in zip up pajamas so they are easier to take off without disrupting baby. Having a pacifier is a nice soother, even if baby hasn't been interested before. A bottle of pumped milk or formula is great for any on demand feeding while in a set up, but totally up to parents.
Try not to change baby's diet the day before or day of the session as it might cause baby to be more gassy or uncomfortable which means more advanced poses might not be achieved.
#2 is ENJOY!!!
Feel free to ask questions, but otherwise prop those feet up and enjoy watching me take beautiful pictures of your baby.
When to Book?
Day of the Session
I am so flexible on this question because I have had many sessions with babies ranging from 5-6 days to 5-6 weeks old. I treat every baby the same, starting with a swaddle to get them nice and comfy, then move on to a prop or parent shots depending on the flow baby dictates!
When scheduling a session before baby's arrival I typically put the due date in my calendar to give myself a rough estimate as to when I need to make myself available.
A pre-consultation meeting or phone call is generally recommended to get an idea of what parents are looking for in terms of style, color, and/or themes. Once baby has arrived, just contact me so we can set up a date for me to photograph your beautiful baby!!!
